Russia launches massive drone and missile strikes on Ukraine

Russia has attacked Ukraine with more than 500 “Shahed” drones, nearly 50 cruise missiles, and “Dagger” aeroballistic missiles.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to him, the regions of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odessa, and Kirovohrad were hit, resulting in deaths and injuries.

Volodymyr Zelensky called on Western countries to respond to the attack:

“Today, the Russians have once again attacked our infrastructure and everything that ensures people’s normal life. To stop this air terror, we need more defense, particularly the rapid implementation of all defense agreements related to air defense. A unilateral ceasefire in the sky is possible, and this could open the way for real diplomacy. America and Europe must act to force Putin to stop.”
