During the 12-day war with Israel, drones from “some neighboring countries” entered Iranian territory.
Axar.az reports that these remarks were made by Ahmad Ali Goudarzi, commander of Iran’s Border Police.
According to Mehr Agency, Goudarzi stated at a ceremony dedicated to the activities of the country’s law enforcement agencies:
“During the 12-day war waged by the Zionist regime against us, drones and quadcopters from some countries entered our territory. We documented these incidents and submitted relevant reports. Our border guards observed three minibuses in a neighboring country’s territory from which drones were launched. When we informed that country’s border guards, their troops took action; during the confrontation, three people were killed and others were arrested.”
