Poland scrambles jets after Russian attack on Ukraine

Following Russia’s drone and missile attacks on Ukraine, Poland scrambled its fighter jets to ensure the safety of its airspace.

Axar.az reports that the BBC published this information.

“Russia launched massive missile and drone attacks overnight and in the morning on various regions of Ukraine, particularly the western city of Lviv. In response, NATO ally aircraft also took to the skies,” the report said.

It should be noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had earlier stated that Russia attacked with more than 50 missiles and about 500 drones.
