Iran removes four zeros from currency

The Iranian parliament has approved a plan to remove four zeros from the country’s official currency, the toman.

Axar.az reports that this information was published on the parliament’s official website.

It should be noted that the Iranian Cabinet had previously agreed to the removal of four zeros from the national currency.

From now on, the country’s official currencies will be the toman and the qiran.
