Cameroon-flagged tanker catches fire near Yemen

An LPG tanker named MV Falkon, sailing under the flag of Cameroon, caught fire after an explosion near Yemen’s Aden port.

Axar.az reports that the European Union’s “Aspides” naval mission reported the incident.

The tanker was reportedly fully loaded at the time. Merchant vessels rescued 24 crew members, while two people are said to be missing. The cause of the explosion has not been disclosed.
