Papuashvili: foreign forces tried to drag Georgia into war

The situation in Ukraine is severe. Official Kyiv is unable to either continue the war or end it.

Axar.az reports that these words were stated to the media by the Chairman of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili.

According to him, some forces also wanted a similar situation to occur in Georgia. But the government and the Georgian people did not allow it.

“Foreign forces, the internal opposition, and some NGOs were dragging us into war. At that time, we were saying that we, as Georgians, know from our bitter experience how such wars begin and how they end. That is why the Georgian government acted with particular caution, because we were standing on the brink of such a destructive war. We prevented it,” Papuashvili emphasized.
