LDPR seeks ban on selling weapons and sprays to migrants

LDPR has proposed banning the sale of pneumatic weapons, stun guns, gas, and other sprays to migrants in order to prevent illegal activities.

Axar.az reports that the party’s press service announced that the relevant draft law will be submitted to the State Duma by deputies led by party leader Leonid Slutsky.

The party noted that, under current legislation, migrants can purchase these items in Russia without a license. Slutsky believes that this legal loophole allows migrants to acquire “potentially dangerous devices” completely legally.

“This creates real risks for public safety,” he said.
