India leads world in mobile internet consumption

India is the world leader in mobile internet consumption.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the “Times of India.”

An average user consumes at least 36 gigabytes of mobile internet per month.

With this figure, India far surpasses countries such as the U.S., China, and Western European nations. The reason is the low cost of mobile internet plans. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently stated that in India, one gigabyte of mobile internet is cheaper than a cup of tea.
