Macron: EU nearing deal on Russia’s frozen assets

A compromise on the future fate of Russia's frozen assets in Europe could be reached by the next EU summit before Christmas.

Axar.az reports that French President Emmanuel Macron said this at a press conference in Paris after talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.

"We will find a solution that will allow us to technically answer all the legal questions addressed to us. The goal is to complete this by the next meeting of the EU Council, and the European Commission is expected to announce its decisions in the next few days," Macron said.
