Instagram chief ends remote work for employees

Instagram chief Adam Mosseri will require most US employees to work from the office five days a week starting February 2026, ending remote work options.

Axar.az informs, citing Al Arabiya, “I believe that we are more creative and collaborative when we are together in-person,” Mosseri wrote in the memo.

“Starting February 2, I’m asking everyone in my rollup based in a US office with assigned desks to come back full time (five days a week).”

The change will apply to employees in most of the US, except in New York where, according to the memo, there are space constraints that need to be resolved.

“In the NY office, we won’t expect you to come back full time until we’ve alleviated the space constraints. We’ll share more once we have a better sense of timeline,” Mosseri wrote.
