Putin: Russia has no goal to restore the USSR

There is no question of restoring the USSR; Russia has no such goal.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin said this in response to a relevant question during an interview with the India Today TV channel.

"No, of course not. There is no question of this. It simply does not make sense. There is also a question of rationality. In the current circumstances, it makes no sense, because it would fundamentally change the ethnic and religious composition of the Russian Federation," the Russian leader noted.
