On the night of January 5, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on a hospital building in Kyiv’s Obolon district.

Axar.az informs, citing Ukrainian media, the fire caused by the attack was extinguished, and the body of one person was discovered during an inspection of the building.

Rescuers evacuated 25 people from the site, while three others were reported injured.

It was also noted that overnight Ukraine came under a large-scale attack involving drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles.

According to the information, the strikes targeted military and energy infrastructure facilities in Kyiv and its surrounding areas, as well as in the city of Chernihiv and the Sumy, Cherkasy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zhytomyr regions.
