Russia urges the US to release Venezuelan President

We call on the United States to release Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzi,a at a Security Council meeting.

He said that it is impossible to justify what the United States has done in Venezuela in any way.

It should be noted that on January 3, the United States carried out strikes on the capital of Venezuela, Caracas. Special forces captured President Maduro and his wife and took them to the United States.
