Iran announces three-day mourning period

Three days of national mourning have been declared in Iran following the deaths of numerous security personnel in the unrest.

Axar.az reports, citing "Tasnim", that the Cabinet of Ministers decided this effect.

"The President of Iran, feeling deep sorrow over the loss of the dear sons of the homeland, joins the Cabinet of Ministers in mourning the martyrs and invites the dear Iranian people to the national resistance march to be held on Monday," the statement said.
