Magnitude 3 earthquake recorded in Shamakhi

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3 was recorded in the Shamakhi district at 03:07 local time.

Axar.az reports that the information was released by the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

According to the report, the earthquake, which was registered 9 km south of the Pirgulu station, was not felt.

It is worth noting that a 3.8-magnitude earthquake occurred in Shamakhi on January 10.
