Trump tells Iranians to ‘keep protesting’

US President Donald Trump urged Iranians to continue protesting, saying “help is on its way,” signaling a possible shift toward military action against Tehran.

Axar.az reports that he canceled talks with Iranian officials, rejected Iran’s offer to resume nuclear negotiations, and imposed a 25% tariff on any country doing business with Iran.

Trump is considering military options, including airstrikes, while emphasizing that diplomacy remains his first choice. Protests in Iran have reportedly led to up to 2,000 deaths amid a harsh crackdown.

The UK announced new sanctions on Iran, and global tensions rose as China and other major trading partners reacted to the US measures.
