Questioning NATO troops’ sacrifice is unacceptable

Questioning the sacrifice of troops who risked their lives on political orders and fought shoulder to shoulder with American soldiers is unacceptable.

Axar.az reports that Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen made the statement while commenting on U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks about NATO’s mission in Afghanistan.

“During the 20-year mission in Afghanistan, 44 Danish soldiers were killed, while Norway lost 10 troops,” the prime minister emphasized.

It should be noted that earlier, Trump claimed that NATO troops had “stayed on the sidelines” and avoided the front lines during the Afghanistan mission.
