The Venezuelan government will be able to earn record amounts after the arrival of major oil companies in Bolivar.

Axar.az reports that US President Donald Trump said this in an interview with the New York Post newspaper.

"We are engaged in oil in Venezuela. Together with Venezuela, we will also earn. Then the major oil companies will come and produce so much oil that Venezuela will earn more than before," Trump said.

The US leader also said that the US maintains good relations with the interim president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez:

"We have a great relationship with the new president. He is a fantastic person."
