The main goal of a possible Israeli attack on Iran will be to destroy the important capabilities of this country's armed forces.

Axar.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said in an interview with Al Jazeera.

"I think that Israel's main goal will be to destroy some of the important capabilities of the Iranian army," Fidan said.

Commenting on Israel's desire to change the regime in Iran, he noted that "they may want to do it, but it is not clear whether they will be able to do it."

"This does not depend on foreign military intervention, but on the people. The Iranian people always unite around their leaders during wars and foreign attacks, especially attacks from Israel," the Foreign Minister said.
