Meat installment sales spread on social media

Meat is now being sold on credit via social media in Iran.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by “Azad Iran.”

According to the report, Iranian media say that following a decline in people’s purchasing power, meat is being sold on social media through installment payments:

“After the abolition of the preferential exchange rate and a sharp rise in meat prices, the sale of meat in installments has become popular on social media. Some advertisements offer meat with half of the price paid upfront and the remaining amount paid over two months.”
