Ukraine says US ready to confirm security guarantees

We have received information from the United States that it is ready to confirm security guarantees in Congress.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said this.

He noted that these are not the first assurances in Ukraine’s history, but legally binding guarantees. The draft bilateral guarantees project is almost ready.

“The second key element of the security architecture is a military presence with American support. Without the US role, an effective security system in Europe is not possible,” he added.
