Macron: Europe must define coexistence with Russia

If peace is achieved in Ukraine, Europe will have to determine the rules of coexistence with Russia.

Axar.az reports that French President Emmanuel Macron said this during his speech at the Munich Security Conference.

He noted that forcing Ukraine to sign a peace agreement on the aggressor country’s terms would be a strategic mistake.

Macron recalled that, amid peace talks, Russia continues to kill civilians and strike Ukraine’s strategic and critical infrastructure.

“It is unacceptable to make concessions to Russia’s demands; on the contrary, we must increase the pressure we are applying to it,” he said.
