Turkiye closely monitoring US-Iran negotiations

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasized that Turkiye hopes the process can be resolved through negotiations without the need for any military operation, adding that there are positive signals of progress on certain issues during the talks.

Axar.az informs the minister noted that Turkiye is closely following how the situation between the U.S. and Iran will evolve and how the parties will approach the process moving forward.

“There are actually many reasons to be hopeful. We especially hope for a breakthrough on the nuclear file. At the same time, we are observing an increase in military activity. We are closely monitoring whether this activity is intended to pressure the ongoing negotiations or if it is preparation for a pre-planned military operation.”
