Iran will be temporarily overseen by Pezeshkian

After the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the country will be temporarily overseen by President Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the judiciary, and a member of the Guardian Council.

Axar.az, citing IRNA, reports these officials will manage the republic during the transitional period following the Supreme Leader’s passing.

The agency did not clarify the duration of the transition or the specific authorities these officials will hold.
