Tehran reacts to unconfirmed reports of Khamenei’s death - Video

Residents of Tehran have reacted to media reports claiming the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.

Axar.az reports that some citizens reportedly welcomed the news, and videos circulating on social media appear to show celebratory reactions.

Unconfirmed reports have also alleged that Khamenei, along with his son-in-law and daughter-in-law (the wife of Mojtaba Khamenei), was killed.

While a spokesperson for the Tehran Municipality has confirmed the deaths of the son-in-law and daughter-in-law, no official statement has been issued regarding Khamenei himself.

The reported deaths of Khamenei and his son remain unverified.
