Iraqi protesters take to streets in support of Iran

Hundreds of people demonstrated in Baghdad in support of Iran and against the attacks launched by Israel and the U.S.

Axar.az, citing AP, reports that demonstrators carried posters of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the late Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and the high Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani.

Demonstrators clashed with anti-riot police several times in the demonstration, which was held near the heavily fortified Green Zone in the Iraqi capital.
