Axar.az reports, citing Al-Alam, this was stated by Secretary of Iran’s National Security Council Ali Larijani.

"Yes, and I think some mischief is taking place. A drone has struck Azerbaijan. We have not attacked there at all. We also told them it was not our action, but I think Israel is conspiring in this matter. It wants to involve some countries in conflict with us without cause.

What does Azerbaijan have to do with us? Of course, if any of these countries conspire or carry out flights against us, we will deal with them, but we have no problem with the countries of the region; right now we are even in dialogue with them. We tell them you are our friends, you are our neighbors, neither do we intend to view you suspiciously, nor do we intend to seize you, nor do we intend to invade you, but you yourselves must either accept it or stop them.

One or two countries said we will stop this ourselves; of course, we doubt they have the power to stop the United States, but we said we accept if you stop them yourselves, we will not intervene. Now we will wait to see if they stop them," Larijani said.

It should be noted that on March 5, four drones were used from Iran to attack civilian infrastructure in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
