Turkiye deployed F-16s and air defense to Northern Cyprus

Taking into account the military operations in the Middle East, Turkiye has announced a new measure to strengthen the security of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Axar.az reports the information was released by the Ministry of National Defense of Turkiye.

It was reported that, starting today, six F-16 fighter jets and an air defense system have been deployed to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

It should be noted that earlier reports had indicated the planned deployment of F-16 fighter jets to Northern Cyprus.
