Turkiye to deploy F-16 jets to Northern Cyprus

Turkiye is set to deploy six F-16 fighter jets to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) tomorrow.

Axar.az reports that the announcement was made by Ashkin Mesheli, acting director of the TRNC Civil Aviation Department.

Mesheli emphasized that the jets are being sent for security purposes and that the move will not impact civilian flights.

It is worth noting that reports about the F-16 deployment to the island had already emerged yesterday.
