10 killed, 178 injured in Iran strikes on UAE

Since the escalation in the Middle East began, 10 people have been killed and 178 injured as a result of Iran’s strikes on the UAE.

Axar.az reports, the UAE Ministry of Defense wrote on X: "The UAE air defenses, on 30th March 2026, engaged 11 ballistic missiles and 27 UAV's launched from Iran."

"Since the start of the blatant Iranian attacks, UAE air defenses have engaged 425 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,941 UAVs," the statement said.

According to the ministry, those killed include two members of the armed forces, a Moroccan civilian contracted by the military, and eight civilians of Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Palestinian, and Indian nationalities.

“A total of 178 people were injured, with injuries ranging from minor to severe, including citizens of the UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Türkiye, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, Indonesia, Sweden, and Tunisia,” the statement said.

The UAE Ministry of Defense emphasized that it remains fully prepared to respond to any threats to the country’s security and sovereignty.
