Iran strikes Neot Hovav, Gulf facilities with missiles

The Iranian Armed Forces have carried out strikes on industrial and energy infrastructure in southern Israel, as well as on military and critical facilities in Gulf countries including Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.

Axar.az reports, citing Times of Israel, missiles and drones targeted the Neot Hovav industrial zone south of Beersheba, which houses petrochemical facilities, fuel storage tanks, and a toxic waste site.

One projectile struck an open area, causing minor damage but no injuries, while earlier salvos were likely intercepted by Israeli air defenses.

In Kuwait, Iranian drones reportedly hit military equipment depots, command centers, and power and water facilities, causing material damage but no casualties. Similar attacks were reported in the UAE and Bahrain, targeting petrochemical and storage facilities.

The Iranian army confirmed the strikes in a statement, emphasizing that the operations targeted military and strategic infrastructure. The Israeli Defense Forces said investigations were ongoing into the missile impacts, while authorities in Gulf countries assessed the extent of the damage.
