Russia praises US-Iran agreement to avoid escalation

Russia welcomes the United States and Iran’s decision not to escalate militarily.

Axar.az informs that this was stated by Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.

“Russia hopes that direct contacts between Iran and the United States will take place in the near future,” he added.

It is worth noting that a two-week ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran has come into effect today.
