New Persian Gulf rules to follow Supreme Leader’s directive

New rules and frameworks for managing the Persian Gulf will be shaped and implemented in line with directives from Iran’s Supreme Leader.

Axar.az reports, citing ISNA, the command of the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) made the statement.

“The equations and rules of the new management of the Persian Gulf have been set based on the historic directive of the Supreme Leader and will be implemented accordingly,” the statement said.

The IRGC added that its naval forces, by maintaining control over nearly 2,000 kilometers of Iran’s coastline along the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, will turn the waters into a source of livelihood and strength for the Iranian people, as well as a source of security and development for the region.
