CENTCOM denies reports of US warship being hit

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has denied reports in Iranian media claiming that a U.S. warship was hit.

Axar.az reports that CENTCOM shared the information on its X account.

"No U.S. Navy ships have been struck. U.S. forces are supporting Project Freedom and enforcing the naval blockade on Iranian ports," CENTCOM said.

It should be noted that Iranian media had reported that a U.S. warship approaching the Strait of Hormuz was hit by two missiles.
