European nations have “gotten the message” from US President Donald Trump.

Axar.az informs that this was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at a European Political Community summit in Armenia.

“Yes, there has been some disappointment from the US side, but Europeans have listened,” Rutte noted.

“They are now making sure that all the bilateral basing agreements are being implemented,” he added.

It should be noted that the United States on Friday announced plans to withdraw 5,000 troops from Germany, accusing some NATO countries of not doing enough to support Washington in the war with Iran.
