Russia warns Baltic states over drone launches for Ukraine

Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, has warned that Russia will respond if drones are launched from the Baltic states.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that he said that if UAVs are launched from the territory of Baltic countries, an “inevitable response” would follow, adding that modern intelligence capabilities allow Russia to identify the launch points of drones and that retaliatory strikes would be unavoidable.

Nebenzya also referred to previous incidents involving UAVs and claimed that debris analysis can be used to determine their origin.

Separately, Russian media noted regional incidents involving drones in Estonia and neighboring countries, including reports of interceptions and downing of UAVs.
