Lithuania issues air alert over drone detection

Authorities in Lithuania have declared an air raid alert in parts of the country after a drone was detected near its border, prompting a response involving NATO airspace patrols.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania on its X account.

"Lithuania has issued an air alert in parts of the country after a suspected drone approaching from Belarus was detected near the border. NATO Baltic Air Policing has been activated," the statement reads.
