Magnitude 4.7 earthquake strikes Southern Iran region

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake has been recorded in southern Iran.

Axar.az reports, citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), that the quake was at a ​depth of 14 km.

The tremors were felt in parts of Hormozgan Province.
