Shoigu says Armenia took unfriendly steps toward Russia

Armenia has taken a series of unfriendly steps toward Russia in recent years.

Axar.az reports that Shoigu made the remarks during a meeting of a special working group of the Russian Security Council.

He said that Moscow views Armenia’s decisions to join the International Criminal Court, extradite Russian citizens to third countries, and create difficulties for Russian economic entities as unfriendly actions.

Shoigu also added that Armenia allowed representatives of the Kyiv government to speak at the European Political Community summit in Yerevan, where, according to him, they made threats against Russia.
