Rubio meets Fidan at NATO ministers’ meeting

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a meeting today with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan during the NATO foreign ministers’ gathering.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, the sides discussed preparations for the upcoming NATO Summit in Ankara, the need to raise defence spending, and the expansion of defence manufacturing capacities.

They also addressed the issue of opening the Strait of Hormuz, as well as broader regional stability.
