Israel strikes Hezbollah sites in Beqaa and Tyre

Israeli forces have struck Hezbollah targets in Lebanon’s Beqaa region and the city of Tyre overnight.

Axar.az reports that an underground Hezbollah compound in Beqaa used for weapons manufacturing was destroyed, along with additional infrastructure sites in Tyre.

According to the Israeli military, the targeted facilities were used to plan and carry out attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.

The IDF said precautionary measures were taken ahead of the strikes, including advance warnings, precision-guided munitions, and aerial surveillance to reduce civilian harm.

It added that operations against threats to Israeli civilians and soldiers will continue in line with government directives.
