Trabzonspor win Turkish Cup after victory over Konyaspor

Trabzonspor have lifted the Ziraat Turkish Cup after defeating Konyaspor 2-1 in the final played at Corendon Airlines Park Antalya Stadium.

Axar.az reports that the claret-and-blue team secured their 10th Turkish Cup title, with both goals coming from Paul Onuachu, who struck in the 17th minute and again in the 78th from the penalty spot.

Konyaspor equalised in the 49th minute through Jackson Muleka, keeping the final finely balanced. However, Trabzonspor regained control in the second half and held on for victory.

Konyaspor also missed a crucial opportunity to level the match when Enis Bardhi failed to convert a penalty in the 58th minute.

Following the final whistle, Trabzonspor celebrated a historic triumph, adding another domestic trophy to their collection and sealing a memorable season under coach Fatih Tekke.
