Pashinyan plans second lawsuit against Karapetyan

Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, has announced his intention to file a second lawsuit against businessman and leader of the “Strong Armenia” Party, Russian entrepreneur Samvel Karapetyan.

Axar.az reports that Karapetyan claimed that the prime minister owns a house in Canada.

“He says I have a house in Canada. Of course, I will sue him for this absurd statement, and he will apologize. I have one home—Armenia,” Pashinyan said in a video shared on social media.

On May 14, Pashinyan filed a lawsuit against Karapetyan after the businessman claimed that the prime minister brought nearly one ton of hallucinogenic mushrooms from China and used them before his speeches. The prime minister is seeking 6 million drams (approximately $16,200) in compensation.
