Iran orders reopening of international internet access

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has ordered the reopening of international internet access following months of widespread restrictions.

Axar.az reports, citing Fars News, the move comes after an extended blackout that began amid political unrest and later intensified during regional military tensions.

Authorities have not yet clarified how or when full connectivity to the global internet will be restored.

Internet access in Iran has remained heavily restricted in recent months, with most users relying on limited or costly VPN services to reach the global web.
