Turkiye ready to normalize ties with Armenia if conditions met

Referring to the normalization process with Armenia, Turkish foreign minister Hakan Fidan said that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s government has taken very important steps, and noted that, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, several significant measures have been implemented, including direct trade and flights.

Axar.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made the remarks following his visit to Russia on June 16–17.

Fidan said that the tasks required for the next phase are clear, adding: “We are ready for normalization when those conditions are met.”
