Ukraine eyes domestic production of SCALP missiles

Ukraine could begin domestic production of France's SCALP cruise missiles.

Axar.az informs that Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said the issue is being discussed in detail with the French government and the manufacturer following talks between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and French President Emmanuel Macron.

“Negotiations are currently underway to obtain a production license. At the same time, dialogue between Kyiv and Washington on licenses to produce U.S. weapons is continuing. There has been progress, but it is still too early to finalize any agreements,” he said.
