Turkish army chief meets Pakistan's Asim Munir

Turkish Chief of the General Staff Selcuk Bayraktaroglu met with Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, in Ankara.

Axar.az reports that the two sides held bilateral talks on military cooperation.

Following the meeting, Bayraktaroglu presented Munir with the "Distinguished Service" Medal, one of Turkiye's highest military honors.

According to the Turkish General Staff, the award was presented in recognition of Munir's contribution to strengthening friendship between the Turkish and Pakistani armed forces and enhancing defense cooperation.
