Two earthquakes measuring 6.0 and 5.7 struck off Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula.
Axar.az reports, citing the Kamchatka branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences' Geophysical Survey, that the tremors occurred on July 15, just six minutes apart.
According to the report, the 6.0-magnitude earthquake was centered 210 kilometers southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at a depth of 64.6 kilometers.
The 5.7-magnitude quake struck about 206 kilometers from the city at a depth of 72 kilometers.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
