Ukraine aims to boost drone output to 20 million

Ukraine currently produces 10 million drones per year and plans to double that output.

Axar.az reports, citing RBC Ukraine, that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made the remarks at celebrations marking Ukrainian Statehood Day in Kyiv.

The president recalled that when he first announced the goal of producing 1 million drones per year, many people were skeptical.

"I remember the first time I publicly announced the state's plan: 1 million drones a year. There was a lot of skepticism everywhere, both inside the country and abroad. But now we can state this: we produce 10 million drones a year. Ten million, and it will be 20 million," Zelensky said.

The head of state assured that Ukraine would achieve this goal together with its partners.
