Ukraine's defense minister resigns

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Mykhailo Fedorov as Ukraine's defense minister as part of his administration's latest government overhaul.

Axar.az reports, citing Kyiv Independent, that the dismissal followed a meeting with military leadership on July 15.

Fedorov then confirmed his dismissal in a social media post later in the evening, saying it was "a great honor to serve the Ukrainian people as Defense Minister."
